FSI is delighted to announce that we are finalists in the PFM Awards 2017, Partners in Expert Services category, with client BAM FM

This category is for partnerships between public or private sector organisations and a supplier with specific skills, technical expertise or experience, such as FM consultancy, IT support reprographics, software development, cleaning, catering, logistics, etc.

BAM FM Ltd was founded in 2000 and has had an unbroken relationship with FSI Ltd since then. FSI supplies CAFM technology which BAM FM has implemented, across a growing and changing customer base, as a key operational and strategic management tool to help it carry out its UK-wide role as an FM outsource provider.

The companies have collaborated in a continuing feedback loop. This has helped significantly towards the ongoing development of FSI's Concept products as a globally recognised, leading CAFM software solution. In the process Concept has supported BAM FM in maintaining a position at the forefront of its market by responding to changing customer requirements brought about by operational and technological innovation and social and economic factors.

BAM FM has developed since 2000 from a customer base of large, single site, public sector buildings with long-term contracts requiring static site staff to a mixed public/private sector portfolio with multiple sites of all sizes, contracts of varied duration and a significant requirement for a mobile workforce. FSI's Concept software has developed over that time to embrace the added complexities in BAM FM's portfolio: geographic spread, vastly increased asset registers, mobile workforce logistics, high volume short-term invoicing/work-in-progress reporting, supplier management and higher customer reporting expectations.

The internet, mobile devices for computing/communications and the growth of smarter technologies have been enveloped within the developments the two companies have made to sustain their businesses. Their current collaborations involve BIM, the internet-of-things and socialising FM smartphone apps.

Good luck to FSI and BAM FM Ltd for the awards ceremony in London on 1st November.
